Our Use of Cookies

Cookies & Privacy

tl;dr version - we don't track any personal data on the hwh3 website and you don't need to have cookies enabled to view anything on the site.

The longer version:

If you come on a hash then we'll collect your name and record which hashes you run in a spreadsheet. If you set a run then your name will be added to this website. If you want to be removed from the tick list or the website then just ask and we'll take you off.

This site uses privacy friendly analytics to record visitors which does not track return visits or store any identifiable data. Honestly we're just not that interested.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files which are stored on your computer. No personal information is stored in the cookies set by the hwh3 website.

If you do not have cookies enabled then you will still be able to browse the site and we won't nag you about it.

Whilst we do record which areas of the site you visit to help us understand how the site is being used, this information is anonymised before it is sent to us. We do not use any kind of tracking cookies or fingerprinting  to track how often you return to the site or for any other purpose.

More information about what cookies are and how you can disable or enable them is available at www.aboutcookies.org.

The tables below list the cookies you may encounter when using this site:

Cookies set by millipedia

Name Purpose Expires
WIRES Used by our content management system to identify a specific user session. At end of session (when your browser is closed down or a period of time has passed with no interaction)

Third party cookies

Currently we don't have any content included on the site that requires external sites to set cookies. Our YouTube videos use the GDPR compliant no cookie domain - and so should yours.

If we need to use any third party plugins in the future then we'll update this document with details.

If you have any questions about privacy and cookies then you can get in touch with the developers of this site at millipedia - it is something we spend a lot of time fiddling with,
